2011 Build Details

Habitat for Humanity of Athens/Limestone County is excited to be building some of the finest houses in the state, if not the nation. Currently, we are building in two different areas, and expanding that at the end of the 2011 year.

Much of our building for this year and last was in the Hope subdivision off of Brownsferrry Street. This has been a great location for us and the home buyers, and there remains 2 lots in the subdivision on Adell Place that are as yet unassigned.

We are also building on a private lot where a house was demolished. This is east of Athens on Mayberry Drive.

At the beginning of 2012 we started building for storm victims. The first is off of Capshaw Road in East Limestone County.
